The Biebs is off the hook—and we're not talking about his music.

Nope, turns out Justin Bieber will not be charged with any crime in connection to an alleged assault of a younger boy during a particularly rousing round of laser tag.

Back in October, the teen singing sensation visited a Canadian gaming joint with two bodyguards and was asked to leave after a 12-year-old claimed he was hit by Bieber.

Although Bieber had been fingered in a police complaint filed by the accuser's father, sources told E! News from the get-go that it was  "highly unlikely" the 16-year-old star would be charged with assault.

And now it's official: Biebs is in the clear. "This investigation into the incident is now complete and no charges will be forwarded," Cpl. Sherrdean Turley of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police tells E! News. Turley says there was simply not enough evidence.

Earlier, a fellow laser tagger named Michael Kwen eyewitnessed the entire incident and came forward to E! News, saying Bieber wasn't doing' anything wrong, as some outlets reported.

"It was just a normal game of laser tag, people will always bump into you," Kwen said.

And that's not punishable by law.
