Bieber’s incorrect greeting to Malaysian fans causes a flutter

Baby singer Justin Bieber was so beaming with enthusiasm that he made a major faux paus at his concert.The abscbnnews.com says the singer made a major blunder when he greeted Malaysian fans saying “Hello, Manila!” during a concert in Kuala Lumpur instead of “Hello Malaysia”.

A anonymous blogger wrote that “Justin Bieber staged a very successful jampacked concert in Stadium Merdeka Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last night April 21… But one funny ‘boo-boo’ happened when he showed up on stage and greeted his Malaysian fans ‘Hello Manila!’

Altogether there was no additional information as to how the Malaysian crowd reacted, the alleged gaffe drew much attention from fans, with some making their comments known via popular networking sites including twitter.

“Justin Bieber Shouts ” HELLO MANILA ” instead of Hello Malaysia .. haha Maybe he’s just so excited to come over here !! YAY,” tweeted @ClichaeyeLuvJB.

@karcellana posted, “Me: Justin Bieber said “Hello Manila” instead of ‘Hello Malaysia’ in his concert in Malaysia Ate: AWWW! *touches heart* I wanna watch!:))”

Then again there are those who were only too quick to make the incident another reason to make fun of the YouTube discovery, who is set to hold a concert in Manila on May 10.

“Justin Bieber greets Malaysians ‘Hello Manila!,’ wears a Barcelona jersey in Madrid. Justin Bieber, you need a map,” @abygo said.

This is not the first time Beiber made a boo-boo in public. Only last year the 16-year old pop star was ridiculed after a televised interview showed him looking seemingly perplexed.

Bieber defended himself on twitter saying that he could not understand the interviewer’s thick accent.

Then again Bieber had always been a frequent target of internet bloggers and message board posters notably for his appearance and his music.

There's no doubt that the teen heartthrob caused a tween girl frenzy all over the Holy Land with his appearance, but was Justin Bieber overpaid for his under-selling Tel Aviv concert stop?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source has revealed that the "Never Say Never" singer received a whopping $1 million for his April 14 concert at Hayarkon Park, despite the fact that the show was not even close to a sellout.

Event coordinators had hoped to bring in around 35,000 attendees, while it was estimated that only 24,000 fans actually witnessed the 90-minute performance.

One Israeli promoter offered insight on the issue of sluggish sales, telling, "They overpaid and did not market it right. I think it's important for every artist to come to Israel, but you need to know your crowd."

Justin Bieber brought his family together at the Toronto premiere of Never Say Never. Justin posed for photos with his mom (and manager) Pattie Mallete and father Jeremy Bieber.

Pattie and Jeremy are no longer together and Jeremy has since married another woman with whom he has two children.

Aside from the family meeting, Justin looked happy to greet fans and talk with reporters on the red carpet.

Justin Bieber’s Laugh-Inducing SNL Night

Making for quite the entertaining evening of television, Justin Bieber partook in a few segments on the February 5th episode of “Saturday Night Live” last night.

The “Never Say Never” star joined Dana Carvey and “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi during a Church Lady skit in which the Church Lady attempted to rid evil spirits from the “Jersey Whore”.

In another spoof offering, Bieber helped out Andy Samberg while poking fun at Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly’s just-released flick, “The Roommate”.

Justin portrayed the character of a college student rooming with Deckland [Samberg], as the SNL star said, “So I guess we’re best friends now. I love you. … I’m totally normal.”

Understandably a bit worried, the “Baby” hitmaker responded by saying, “This isn’t going to be one of those things where our friendship starts out fine but then you get really possessive and crazy because I’m not really up for that.”

Justin Bieber’s VMA Rehearsal

Justin Bieber, surrounded by his band and dancers, went virtually unnoticed during his security-heavy and enthusiastic VMA rehearsal Friday afternoon (September 10), though the fans who did spot him shouted excitedly at the surprise performance.

Wearing Wayfarers and a red-and-white varsity jacket (which he alternated with a black leather jacket) over black shirt and pants, Bieber took the stage and previewed his debut VMA performance. The setup was comprised of only two round stages. Bieber, who is up for Best New Artist at Sunday’s VMAs, ran through his set, which includes a medley of his biggest songs.

To very little fanfare from onlookers who didn’t even realize the teen star was putting on a show in broad daylight, he told the minglers in between songs, “What’s up, everybody? I love you! You want me to start?”

He didn’t miss a beat during the run-through, even when a part of his mic fell to the stage. His entrance and exit will leave his fans excited as they watch from their couches, because the pop sensation is out to prove to the non-Beliebers that he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
