Bieber over reported snub of kids

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly has cancelled a meeting with pop star Justin Bieber after the singer refused to meet with children from southern Israel.

Netanyahu, who was scheduled to meet Bieber last Wednesday night, a day before his concert in Tel Aviv, invited children living in communities that have been hit by rockets fired from Gaza to join the sit-down. Bieber, however, refused to meet with the children, according to Israel Channel 2, causing Netanyahu to cancel the meeting.

Bieber and his manager reportedly asked for the meeting with Netanyahu.

The teen idol arrived recently in Israel and toured the country. His itinerary included visits to Christian sites in the Galilee, the Dead Sea, Masada, Acre and Caesarea. He has complained in tweets on Twitter that the Israeli paparazzi have forced him to hole up in his hotel room.

Meanwhile, some 700 children from southern Israeli communities that have been hit by rockets and missiles from Gaza were given free tickets to the Bieber concert.

Miss Fox's new film is being directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, who also has taken on a role in upcoming comedy.

New Kids On The Block – Mcintyre’s Advice For Bieber

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK star JOEY MCINTYRE has warned JUSTIN BIEBER about the pitfalls of finding fame at a young age, insisting he endured plenty of “dark days” after his boyband heyday.

The singer shot to fame when he was a teenager as the youngest member of the pop group, and admits he was in for a shock when their popularity waned.

Now he’s urging 16-year-old Bieber to surround himself with loved ones to support him through his “ups and downs”.

MCIntyre tells Entertainment Tonight, “I wasn’t perfect. We weren’t perfect. We certainly made mistakes and there were dark days. You’re the biggest thing in the world (but) you gotta come down. What goes up comes down, for whatever reason.

“You gotta learn how to hang in there and know that there’s so much more to life than just singing pop tunes and dancing around on stage. And that takes a while – everybody’s got their own path and their own time.

“You have to go with the flow and learn some things the hard way. Hopefully kids like Justin – there’s a lot of young artists out there – hopefully they’ve got good family around them and they’re able to take the ups and downs.”
