Justin Bieber’s hair: it’s shiny and (probably) as soft as a newborn kitten that’s been give a V05 Hot Oil treatment. Should the wind catch it just so, it even has the magical powers necessary to take tweens away on daydreams of unicorns, promises and shopping sprees in the Bieber section of Sears. Some ancient tribes even believed it had the powers to heal panic attacks brought on by the strains of Top 40 pop songs.
And should you have $750 ($750!) to spare, you too can have it.
Not the actual hair, weirdo. (That’d retail for three times that, at least.) We’re referring to the haircut.
That $750 figure would be what stylist Vanessa Price charges for her expertise (house calls only!), Life & Style reports. As Price told the magazine, she was the first to coif Bieber’s hair into the style previously preferred by pre-pubescent hockey players and ladies-who-love-ladies. You know, the shaggy bowl-cut that they’ve been doing for $14 at Supercuts since the pre-Biebz era.
“We both were shocked people cared that much about someone’s hair,” Price said of the attention Bieber’s hairstyle has given him. But it takes work — and lots and lots of money — to keep the magic alive, so to speak.
“I usually cut his hair every couple of weeks when he’s on tour,” Price said.
