Justin Bieber’s upcoming and eagerly awaited first film Never Say Never is indeed aptly titled. After the film’s completion and release, the Biebs plans to do something that will shock and surprise his legions of adoring fans and mortify more than a few of them.
No. Relax. He’s not getting married. Or even engaged (as far as we know.) But he is planning to commit what most of his fans would consider an unthinkable act. According to Bop and Tigerbeat Magazine, Justin Bieber intends to cut his hair.
What will the true beliebers say?
The Biebs’s boyishly long retro-Beatles haircut with bangs has always been his visual trademark. His distinctive hairstyle is a large part of what makes the Biebs… The Biebs.
In a video announcing his drastic decision, Bieber claims, rather half-heartedly that he only plans to cut his hair “a little…a little shorter.” Of course, “a little” is the ultimate relative term. What the Biebs perceives as “a little” might seem like a shaved head to his fans. Or not. Perhaps Bieber’s charisma is such that changes in his appearance, whether dramatic or barely perceptible, will have no effect on his popularity.
